Street photography is a form of documentary photography where subjects are featured in public places under candid situations. The photographer attempts to capture the feeling of a place, creating a strong image without sacrificing truth or authenticity. While studying the works of photographers such as Stephen Shore, William Eggleston, Ernest Benecke, Robert Frank, and Danny Lyon, Bell High photography students took to the streets and learned to see their community in an entirely different light.
